Dian Pelangi and Ria Miranda
Hijabers
community is a community established in Jakarta-Indonesia by a group of young
Muslim women to share tips or experiences related to hijab and girl issue. They
also have routine events, to share about hijab, Islam, and many positive
things. How-did-they-start? The
initial idea of establishing the community was actually coming from Ria Miranda
and Dian Pelangi. These two amazing Muslim women invited their friends and tried
sharing the idea to the forum. Everyone responded very well and very excitedly.
It turned out all the invited Muslim women shared the same visions and missions.

a honors. Armed
with a fashion education and religion, she took over her
mother's boutique business.
Without breaking Islamic law, she slowly changed the negative image of muslim
fashion through the stylish and trendy design. The
design is not only for Muslim countries, but also abroad. In fact, it
is design for those who do not wear the hijab. "I was challenged to
create a different Muslim fashion. Because all
this Muslim dress was considered not
cool, geeky.’’, Dian said. Dian also includes the members of Entrepreneur Mode (APPMI) becomes the

to work in Noor Magazine as a fashion stylist. In

Inspiration
is what makes
her
create Muslim clothing
with
Shabby
Chic
brand.
According to her,
Shabby
Chic
colors
represent
her personality.
That is
about
simplicity,
serenity,
classy,
and
mature but
remain humble.
What
color
is
Shabby
Chic?
The term
is taken
from the
shabby chic
earthy colors
that is
shabby
but also
chic.
These colors
consist
of
pale colors
like
pink
salmon,
pink
dust,
green
olives,
etc.
Ria
Miranda
said
that
any
Muslim

Fitri Aulia
Not
only Ria and Dian we also have Fitri Aulia as a Muslim women fashion icon. Although
she was not born in Aceh, Fitri Aulia cannot cover up her love of Aceh. Born in
Bogor 24 years ago, Aceh blood flows in her body. Her father, Fakhrul Amin come
from Blangpidie, Southwest Aceh. Fitri is one of the designers in Jakarta
Muslim Fashion Week. Songket with floral shoots pattern or pucok reubong
becomes one of the main options in her design. Since
deciding
to wear hijab in 2008,
Fitri continues to
"transmit"
the
spirit
to
every
Muslim she meets.
One of the efforts
is
to
establish
the
Hijabers

in
Jakarta
in 2011.
The idea of
forming
the
community,
merely to
invite
Indonesia
to want to
cover awrah of Muslim women.
Now
that
the community
already
has
official

several
big
cities
in
Indonesia,
one of them is in Aceh.
Fitri also has a clothing brand called
Kivitz. Fitri is known for her style which is stylish but still syar’i. In
accordance to Islamic sharia of how a Muslim woman should dress. Fashion has
become a self expression of creativity, and there is no obstacle for muslim
women to express herself through fashion. But we must remember about the rules
that Allah has set about the hijab or head scarf itself, such as the hijab or
head scarf has to elongate to the chest, covering the legs, and using long
sleeves correctly. That's the purpose of Kivitz, to share inspiration and
benefit to all muslim women to express their hijab style, to remain syar'i yet
stylish. In her blog she shared her personal opinion and her style of
hijab fashion, which is syar'i and stylish. Insha Allah. So she created it with
the intention of providing an indispensable resource for style-conscious muslim
women in Indonesia. She also post links and pictures of Kivitz modest clothes,
how to buy it, and how to wear it. She also hope to explore the world of
international hijab fashion, designers, and trends.
In Februari 25, 2011, Fitri launched the Kivitz brand. The brand
produces Muslim women apparels such as scarfs, dresses, skirts, and outerwear.
Kivitz has turned to be a Muslim women fashion brand. Kivitz products are
wearable, can be mixed and matched in any different styles. Today, Kivitz
sells the products using the online shop: www.facebook.com/KivitzShop
Kivitz has provided the products to many customers in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore,
South Africa, etc. Kivitz stores are also available in some boutiques in
Indonesia, such as Jakarta, Aceh, Palembang, and Makassar. She use Kivitz blog
and other social media networks to provide the news, latest collection, and
also to keep in touch with customers. She hopes can stay steadfast in
Islam, to provide muslim women particularly in Indonesia, to get inspiration
and benefit in syar'i and stylish way.
